WSI President<strong>. <\/strong>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/5f0cf66486c3\/covid-19-recovery-advocacy-programme-updates-latest-news-12579014?e=60ff3e747a\">here<\/a> to register and more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>The International Working Group (IWG) on Women &amp; Sport is excited to announce that we will officially launch the 8th IWG World Conference on Women &amp; Sport at a digital event on Friday 4 September, from 12.30-14.00 New Zealand Time, in partnership with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.buscircle.com\/\"><strong>Trans-Tasman Business Circle SportsConnect<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a world still deeply affected by COVID-19, we are pleased to launch our first ever physical-digital hybrid World Conference. We are inviting you to join us on the journey toward and beyond Auckland, May 2022.<\/p>\n<p>This exciting digital launch will feature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0live address\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>the Hon\u00a0Grant Robertson<\/strong>, New Zealand Minister of Sport and Recreation<\/li>\n<li>A recorded keynote from well-known Australasian sports administrator,\u00a0<strong>Raelene Castle ONZM<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0live panel discussion with audience Q&amp;A moderated by former New Zealand Black Ferns rugby player and TV host\u00a0<strong>Melodie Robinson\u00a0<\/strong>and featuring the Hon Grant Robertson, along with newly announced Captain of the\u00a0New Zealand White Ferns cricket team,\u00a0<strong>Sophie Devine<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Haylee Putaranui<\/strong>, Head of Diversity &amp; Inclusion at\u00a0Fonterra, one of New Zealand\u2019s largest businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IWG\u201ds <strong>\u201cChange Inspires Change\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0short film will\u00a0also debut.\u00a0This campaign is all about empowering the individual to make positive change for women and girls in sport and physical\u00a0activity worldwide.
