WSI Board Member, Gabi Salomon, released her research on gender initiatives in football workplace. Research finds that women in sport do not find gender equity practices in their field as adequate. \u201cGabrielle Salomon is the founder of The Alliance for Diversity, Equality,\u00a0Inclusion in Sport\u202fand\u00a0an\u00a0Associate Lecturer\u202fand\u00a0PhD Candidate in the\u202fFaculty\u202fof Business and Law,\u00a0Manchester\u202fMetropolitan\u00a0University\u201d.<\/p>\n

Her PhD is focused on\u00a0investigating both men\u2019s and women\u2019s\u00a0professional\u00a0football workplaces\u00a0to see if their gender equity and,\u00a0or,\u00a0diversity\u00a0initiaitves, schemes, and quotas are effective or just tokenistic. It is\u00a0an international\u00a0study involving workplaces in the US, England, Canada and\u00a0Scotland.\u201d<\/p>\n
