{"id":96,"date":"2018-03-12T15:48:23","date_gmt":"2018-03-12T15:48:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/d12163403.u51.c10.heinstant.com\/sport\/?p=96"},"modified":"2018-05-17T19:58:03","modified_gmt":"2018-05-17T19:58:03","slug":"new-zealand-rugby-announces-groundbreaking-new-agreement-for-womens-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/womensportinternational.org\/index.php\/new-zealand-rugby-announces-groundbreaking-new-agreement-for-womens-game\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW ZEALAND RUGBY ANNOUNCES GROUNDBREAKING NEW AGREEMENT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Zealand Rugby has announced a new milestone agreement which could change the face of the women&#8217;s game in this country.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Working in tandem with the Players Association, NZR has institued a &#8220;Memorandum of Understanding&#8221; which will allow a minimum of 30 players to be employed on a full-time basis.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a guaranteed retainer and a host of other benefits written into the deals, including medical and life insurance.<\/p>\n<p>It includes a Parental Policy for players returning from maternity leave, allowing them to nominate a support person to travel with them and provide child care while the squad is in training camp.
