Additionally, several WSI members are involved in this special program. “In cooperation with Women Sport International, Joanna Harper, a Ph.D. researcher for transgender athletic performance at Loughborough University (UK), will deliver the keynote lecture with the latest data. We will discuss fair and equitable eligibility criteria for ALL athletes – including transgender athletes with national and international experts.”

South African Women and Sport Foundation (SAWASF) is hosting the National Advocacy Conference on August 27-28, 2022 focusing on “advancing gender equality in South African Sport – Finding real solutions -“. This is the SAWASF’s 5th conference, that will bring together experts, practitioners, athletes and other specialists to find real solutions to continued gender equality challenges facing women and sport.
