It is alarming and wrong that USOPC does not protect the rights of its athletes with disabilities in #Tokyo2020. The USOPC’s denial of essential and reasonable accommodations for 2x Paralympic deaf-blind swimmer and 6x medalist Becca Meyersa and the ongoing inequities for athletes with disabilities is appalling. Becca has chosen through her actions to champion change and shine a light on abelism, discrimination, inequities and the rights of athletes with disabilities despite the heartbreak and anguish of what is happening to her. As WSI, we #StandWithBeccaMeyers.
