Dr. Nadezda Knorre, WomenSport International Vice President & Chairperson of Committee for Equal Opportunities in Sport of Czech Olympic Committee, will serve as a panelist for the Webinar on Violence against Women in Sport by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
Dr. Knorre will discuss WomenSport International’s rich history of advocacy and initiatives on violence against women in sport specifically sexual harassment and abuse since its establishment in 1994. She will also talk about the decisive role the international federations can play in preventing and combating violence against women in sport and concrete initiatives they can implement.
This webinar aims at raising awareness on the importance of preventing and combating violence against women and girls in sport, as well as exchanging recommendations and good practices on the way forward.
